 219 Rescue
219 Rescue is a 2000 Pierce Saber with seating for six personnel. 219 Rescue
is first-out for all extrications, technical rescue, QRS, and hazmat calls. 219
Rescue carries additional SCBA cylinders as well as on on-board cascade system
for refilling cylinders and supplying air for air tools and six Maxiforce air
bags. 219 Rescue is equipped with eight Hurst hydraulic rescue tools, as well
as a full spectrum of equipment for technical, confined space, and trench rescue.
219 Rescue is one of only four apparatus in Allegheny County certified as Advanced
under the Pennnsylvania Voluntary Rescue Service Recognition Program.
